4 Steps to At Home Interview Makeup

Whether you are working for home, attending school from home, or preparing for that big interview from home, here are four simple steps to achieving a flawless look to shine through that computer screen. It can be difficult to show your true colors without a physical connection, but we gottchu Beauty! With the help of a few OFRA products, you will be on your way to killin’ it through the screen.

1. Apply Wet & Dry Foundation

Now, while we are all spending more time at home it’s the perfect time to let your skin breathe and allow your skin care routine to take over. My go-to foundation right now for when I’m feeling a bit glam has been the Wet & Dry Foundation. I use this lightweight product to conceal any blotches and red spots that might be showing on my skin. Why it’s great for video? You can buff as much as you want on to the skin and build it from light coverage to full/medium without needing liquid foundation. Use this powder foundation all over your face to give your skin a fresh, clean look for your interview.

2. Warm Up The Face

The next step in this simple, at-home interview look is to grab a bronzer of your choice and warm up the face. Depending on the lightning that your computer camera may grab, bronzer is exactly what you need to warm up the face and create some contouring on the face. The SAMANTHA MARCH River Bronzer has been my ride or die because you can warm up the face and give it a subtle, inner glow. Don’t go full commitment with this step, you want to add depth to the face, but you don’t want to go so far where you can see lines. Once you’ve applied the bronzer you can always go back with a buffing brush with no product and blend it into the skin.

3. Draw Attention to Your Lashes

That’s it for the face! Let’s move onto our eyes. We are forgoing eyeshadow completely since we want to appear as awake and fresh-faced as possible (although, you can always just buff some color onto the eye with whatever is leftover on your bronzer brush). Make your lashes pop with our HD Volumizing Mascara. This will pull together the whole look. When going through an interview, even at home, it is important to be professional. With a warm, glowing face and a poppin’ lash you are good to go!

4. Gloss Those Lips

And finally… the one product I cannot leave the house without (or in this case stay in the house without) is lip gloss. Dive into any OFRA lip gloss shade to give your lips a moisturized, healthy appearance. Not to mention, glossy lips are a sexy, and yet fresh way to pull your entire face together. Natural, Golden Rose, Sunshine, and Cherry Mocha are OFRA office favs just in case you need some suggestions.
