It's #NationalColorDay and over here at OFRA our Social Team wanted to play around and get creative. To switch it up, we drew our names out of a hat and picked a color to create a monochromatic look with. Check out the looks the team pulled together with their color:
For this very green look I used most of the shades from the Empowered palette as well as the shade Chill Pill from the Glitch 2000 palette and the individual shades Millennium Green, Envious, and Olive. I used the shade Boss Babe as my transition and added a bit of the highlighter Wall Street right on my browbone. I then used the shades Olive and Green Light to deepen the crease and get a gradient effect. To deepen my outer corner, I used the Shade Chill Pill. After that I used our Fixline Eyeliner Gel in the shade Green Vibrations to cut my crease and packed on the shades Envious on the inner corner and Millennium Green on the middle of my lid, making sure to blend out any harsh lines. I used my Verified Liquid Liner and created a thick wing, added mascara, and popped on a wispy falsie.
For the lip, I outlined using our Bronx LLLL and filled in the center with our Lime Green Lipstick. To add a little more dimension, I added some of the Bo$$y Eyes, New Money, to the center of my lips using my fingertips.

I was excited to do this blog, monochromatic looks are so fun to do! When they told me my color was blue, I was over the moon because I could use one of my favorite highlighters, Space Baby! I decided to create a Halo Eye because this type of eye look allows for the middle color to be the star of the show and that's where I chose to apply Bo$$y Eyes CFO and Space Baby. I used the colors Ocean Blue and Deep Blue on the inner and outer corners of the eye, and on the brow bone, I used Plastic. Popped some Truffle in the crease from the Luxe Palette. To blend the blue shadows, I also used our Loose Eyeshadow Syann and Triple Black in the inner and outer corners of the eye. To finish the eyes I used our HD Volumizing Mascara and added Syann to a pair of lashes (I learned that from @Maryandpalettes). For the waterline, I lined my eyes with the Eyeliner Pencil in Black and the bottom lash line with Turquoise. For my cheeks, I used Bellini and Space Baby and for the lips I used our Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Charmed. This was the final look and I loved it and I hope you do too!

Violet, you're turning violet! I was super excited to get purple for my monochromatic look because it is one of my favorite colors to wear. Obviously, I went for our Galaxy Palette for this super easy look. I wanted to use the shade Orion as the star of my look because it has such a cool shift to it. To start, I applied our Fixline as a base on my lid to intensify the shift in the shade. I basically applied it the same way you would do a cut crease and then used my finger to apply Orion. Then, I used a fluffy blending brush and used Orion again the blend into my crease. Can you believe the difference the base made from my lid and crease?! I used Orion again on my lower lash line and then highlighted my inner corner and brow bone with Milky Way. To keep it super monochromatic I used Galaxy as my cheek products as well. I blended Stellar, a light pinky purple as my blush, and then used Milky Way on my cheekbones as my highlighter. My lip for this look was a combo of Dutchess and Wonderland to make a fun purply lip.

I was so happy I got the color orange. I feel like it's really been my color this year. First, I put Fire Orange all over the lid, I then added some L'Orange in the middle of the lid and blended it with the Fire Orange (L'Orange is a bit brighter). I used Syrup for the inner lid and Essential over L'Orange for a seamless blend of shimmers. For the inner corner, I used Syrup. I popped on Verified for eyeliner. I went in with Syrup for highlight and used Fire Orange for blush. For lips, I used Brooklyn and Palo Alto.

Never have I ever used yellow in a look, so I guess this really was a challenge! I used Bright Yellow all over the lid and then in the inner corner added Star Island on top to make it more of a shimmer, and then used Truffle in the outer corner to add depth. With Yellow Submarine Fixline I filled in my waterline, lashline, and coated my bottom lashes to try something trendy and out of my comfort zone. For cheeks, I used a mix of Mai Tai and Punch, and Beverly Hills for my glow. For a nice balance to the yellow, I used a mix of the mauve-y Amsterdam and the OFRA x JenLuvsReviews shade, Refine.
