Top 2019 Trends

With 2020 just around the corner, it's time we break down the looks that made their way into 2019. Check out the looks the office recreated to sum up their fave trends this year. What look were you caught rocking? Which looks do you think will break or make their way into 2020?

The Monochromatic Look

“For my 2019 trend I went for a monochromatic look a là @brittnymakeup! I used just the Island Time Palette and swirled together Bellini and Punch to swipe in “C” shape from my eyelid to my cheekbone. Then I popped Bali Highlighter into my inner corners and just the highest point of the cheekbone for some glow. I finished up this look with a mix of Unzipped and Verona for the perfect lippie combo.”

Some Soft Glam For You

"Who can go wrong with a soft glam look? I took to this challenge with my favorite look of all time. I used the Soul Palette to achieve this super soft beat. I used Truffle all over, then I went in with Raisin to deepen the outer V. I was torn between an all matte look or a tad bit of shimmer so on the lid I used Banana Powder for an all matte look. Although it was a seamless look, Sahara Dawn was calling my name so I placed it over the Banana Powder. I smoked out my lash line with Triple Black from our Bright Addiction Palette. For a slight face glow, I used Sahara Dawn and then threw on Portland with an ombre of Aspen to finish off this Soft Glam look."

Bring On The Bold Lip

“One of my favorite trends is a bold lip. I love to pair a soft eye look with a bright red or deep burgundy. For today’s look, I used our Soul Palette on the eyes. I started with Truffle as my transition shade all throughout my upper crease and deepened using Godiva. For my inner corners, I took the lightest shade in our All Of The Lights Highlighter. To highlight my face, I used my go-to highlighter Rodeo Drive. The star of the show is obviously the bold lip. And for today, I decided to go with my Havana Nights Liquid Lipstick. I paired it with our Chestnut Lipliner to ensure a perfect pout.”

All About Graphic Liner

“I used Fixline Eyeliner gel in black for the black wing and layered a metallic green/gold liner on top with a mix of our shadows. I also added an extra second black wing just at the corners of my eyes to accentuate them and make my lashes look more full! For the rest of my face, I used our Boho Palette and Island Time Palette, and Portland Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick to top it all off.”

Glowy, Glossy, Dewy

"I've been here for the glowy and dewy trend all year long! I start by adding RCK in the shade Universal into my foundation to make sure my skin looks like it is naturally radiant. I want the glow to speak for itself so I keep the rest of the look pretty simple. I mixed together some of Madison Miller's Moondance and Sea Shimmer highlighters to get a perfect skin tone highlight shade. This helps give the appearance that it is a natural glow on the skin, not just a beaming highlighter. To help the skin have a natural dewy look at the end I drench myself in Makeup Fixer, and I mean DRENCH, hahah! Top off this glowy look with a lip gloss and we're all set!"
