Godet Pan Refills
Godets for All
What is a Godet
A pan isn’t just a pan.
A godet is the name of a pan that contains pressed powder products such as foundation or blush. It is often made of a tin/metal material, and can easily be inserted into any magnetic palette or compact replacing used products, such as an eyeshadow pan, or creating a custom palette.
For the history buff (pun intended): The first pressed powder pan was created by Max Factor in the 1930’s as a portable foundation powder. Max Factor, much like OFRA, had their very own cosmetics lab and created makeup to suit the change from black and white to colorized film happening in Old Hollywood. Flashback anyone? Thank you Max Factor.
What’s the deal with a Godet
Godet-filled palettes became popular with makeup artists because they are beyond easy: magnetic, interchangeable, and because they are compact they make traveling from set to set a breeze. Run out of the perfect transition shade? Godets refills can be popped into your existing professional palette or put together into a new palette that makes sense for your makeup routine.
Palettes give a makeup lover life, but sometimes we run out of counter space. Godets mean there is no need for wasted shades in palettes that you don’t care for or don’t look good on your skin tone. With depotting trending (removing makeup pans from their compact and putting them in one larger palette) with the beauty VIP, purchasing your makeup already removed from its compact makes the process seamless and way less messy.
How are Godets used
Godets are either used to refill a product or to create your own individual palette based on your #makeupgoals. There is no need to buy a brand new compact when you can just refill your case. With our new magnetic packaging, available in selected products, you can easily pop out the used pan and replace it with a new one. Read about our new magnetic packaging here.
OFRA has a selection of godets available. Our single eyeshadow godets come in various shades ranging from shimmers, mattes, and satin formulas. OFRA also carries our blushes, bronzers, foundations, and even your favorite ‘Blissful’ and ‘Rodeo Drive’ highlighters in godet form.
F.Y.A. (For your application): Depending on the type of godet product, there are a variety of brushes available on the OFRA website that allow for easy application.
How does a godet differ from the compact product
A godet is only a refill/pan of the product while a compact product comes with the original case and product inside.
Why do you need Godets in your makeup collection
You never have to choose wisely. Godets are so easily interchangeable you can create custom palettes for all your matte shades, shimmer shades, neutrals, and all of your glazed donut highlighter dreams. Beauties, the possibilities are endless, which makes them great for hassle-free travel. Your collection can be condensed to one palette of your vacay must-haves. There is no wrong way to organize your godets.

How are Godets made
Godets are often tin/metal material that is then filled with a product, typically a powder, that is then pressed and compacted into the magnetic pan. They are then packaged in a sleeve and ready to be transported into your makeup collection.
Where can I store my Godet
What is the price of a Godet
The price of our godets ranges from $9.00 to $29.00 depending on which product you would like to refill and the size. We offer a variety of products that come in 2 gram, 4 gram, and 10-gram godets.
What makes OFRA’s Godets different from anything else on the market
We make it ourselves.
All of our products are carefully loved by us before they make it into your makeup bag. OFRA godets have been featured in monthly subscription boxes like Boxy Charm and Ipsy. Customers love our soft, smooth, blendable formula, and the pigmentation that comes with it. We offer refills and give you a place to store them as well.
Whether you’re adding to your own palette collection or starting a new one, makeup lovers can all agree that the godet is a simple and no sweat option of their favorite products that allow for customization. We also offer godets in more than just the standard eyeshadow pan giving you even more room to get all your favorites in one place.

What are the pros of a Godet
The godet is magnetized making it as simple to move and change.
Godets are portable as they can be easily stored with other godets in a palette
Mix and match your godets from day to day by customizing palettes for a special event, traveling and just your everyday essentials.
No need to waste money by purchasing a full-sized compact, simply replace the godet in the compact you already have.
With one of the OFRA Pro Palettes, as you run out of shades you can easily pop them out and have them replaced like new.
What are the cons of a Godet
The godet refill pan is essentially a loose product that can easily get damaged if not stored properly.
Does not come in a compact that usually has mirrors in them- it's your preference!
It can be easily mixed up with your other brands and products and you may get confused as to what is what.
Are OFRA Godets cruelty-free
Yes, all OFRA products are cruelty-free. OFRA does everything from product creation to testing, manufacturing, packaging, and shipping.
