Q: What is the best facial cleanser?
A: Foaming and gel cleansers are the best for oily skin, as they are lightweight and easily remove excess oils from the skin. Dry skin will prematurely age and lose its bounce if not hydrated. This skin type can double up on moisture beginning with the cleansing step. Milky cleansers work best.
Q: Is a cleanser the same as a face wash?
A: While a cleanser and a face wash are very similar, you may find more hydrating ingredients that lead to supple skin with a cleanser.
Q: What do face cleansers do?
A: Throughout the day and night, your skin is exposed to the air and the elements; this exposure causes dirt and grime to build upon your face, which doesn’t allow our skin’s own natural oils to surface and keep our hydration levels up. Cleansing in the morning and evening helps remove makeup and build-up allowing the skin to return to its natural PH and prepping it for layering on even more skin-loving products.
